He had one touch before he was benched for conditt. The announcers even had to point out the horrible basketball. And how many wasted possessions of Nixon trying to shoot in between that? Force it in even if they stop it a few times.
No he didn't. The commentators were wrong. He touched it like 3-4 times on one possession alone. TCU was clearly trying to take Solomon out of the paint. Agree Nixon jacking up shots didn't help. They also turned it over a couple times trying to get it inside to him. Our guards are horrible at feeding the post right now because none of them are strong with the ball. Usually they wait half a second too long to make the pass resulting in either a turnover, or a tough catch which takes Solomon out of his post position.

I’m still mind blown by the impressive throw down at the end by grill! Kid has hops!

Way up there
Always nice to win, glad to see Grill make a couple of plays and Tre hit some shots. Loved that we finally saw him hit a couple of shots off the dribble. Those two both played good but the lineup with them playing with Nixon makes things really easy on the defense.

Great to see a win, loved seeing Grill play some defense at the end. Dude is athletic and can get up as evidenced by him blocking Banes shot at the end after Bane got around him and thought he had the bucket. That was huge, huge for the outcome of the game but also huge for Grill’s confidence.

I still like his potential as a player.

Disappointing to listen to McClure rightfully comment over and over that our offense needs to go through Solo and everybody knows it but Steve.

This is a shockingly stupid take. If you watched the second half, we obviously wanted to get it inside, but our players (who are not good) could not do it. That's why we had at least 12 turnovers in the second half. That's why they kept trying Bolton and Nixon. Neither could do it. Luckily late in the game Tre had two great feeds to Solo.

You know, in a **** filled season this is what this team needed. Was it good we gave up a 18 point lead? No. Did the game matter at all? No. But guys like Bolton and Grill and Jackson managed to win a game late It's hard to believe you can do that until you actually do. In the middle of the game when they were blowing that lead, you could tell that those kids didn't think they could win. I'm glad they got to see a win.
