Vernon's old band mates...similar sound.
The Cook brothers, Brad and Phil.
Phil does more touring, just released an album.
Brad does more producing now.

I really enjoy the Shouting Matches! Plus, I think it's an amazing name.

Listened to a touch DE, never got into Shouting Matches.

Was at a MF show about 8 years ago and Vernon showed up in a t-shirt and beardless, so unrecognizable and the band didn't even announce him, and played some guitar in a song.

Joe their drummer was crazy good and reminded me a bit of Helm at times.

I miss those days.
