I figured this would be about +8 or +9 and I was going to bet ISU but it seems Vegas has overvalued this team all year. I think they might be ready to step up and have a good effort but hard to bet at +5. Just thinking about their home performances against Kansas and Iowa....why will this game be any different?

William Hill has it at 4.5 right now when I just bet it. I like that number better (when taking Baylor)

I just hate betting against my own team. Geez talk about a money line lock this year against Iowa(ISU was -4.5)..Just couldn't do it.

Iowa State is 10-9 against the spread. And before you think they overvalue home court advantage they are 7-5 against the spread at home. So if anything Vegas has actually undervalued ISU a little.

It seems like they overvalue Iowa State against really good teams. The whole Hilton Magic thing I think. I am comfortable betting them at home against bad teams like Okie State and IPFW like I have done this year.

Got Baylor at -4. I think it'll be competitive but Baylor should cover pretty easily. Tristan Clark is going to be back tonight.

Scott Drew(!) has owned ISU at Hilton for a few years now. They are really good and have dudes. We are not really good and have glaring holes. Baylor should win as handily as Kansas.

BUT

The one thing bothering me is that Baylor is ranked #1 and that has been kind of a curse this season. So maybe they come to Ames and lay an egg and Terence or Tre goes Lafester for a night. It could happen, but it will take actual Magic, plus Baylor having an off night.

Way up there
Baylor has had a couple of league games where they didn't play great or at least struggled for a half or so. Seems like one of those games is bound to get them, might as well be tonight. That said, Drew's domination of Prohm scares me away from ISU.

This line seems fishy in a good way for Iowa State. I'm still taking Baylor though lol
