They beat UM in Ann Arbor in March that year. I highly doubt a loss at Michigan, who made the NCAA tourney that season, would have bumped from from a 7 seed to a First Four game.
And LOL at your definition of "bubble".
Depends if you count a 8-9 seed as a bubble team or if it has to be a 10 seed or worse. Honestly it's hard to keep track of all the Fran fades
Iowa was seeded #27 in the field of 68 that season. The First Four teams were seeded 41, 42, 43 and 45.
They werent even close to the bubble.
Fouls aren't the reason Wisconsin lost. They were ahead 12 going into the 8 minute tv timeout. They played like crap down the stretch and that's why they lost.
9 were in the last 1:30 of the game after Iowa took the lead. Iowa should have been more aggressive on offense the entire game.
Never said they were, just correcting some really bad data that you presented. You said 6-4 before that when it was 12-4 before that.
So last year they lost their final four regular season games, 5 of their final 6 (the one win was vs a team that didn't make the tourney at home in overtime) and faded to a bubble team?

This is your pivot? Going from talking about the 2015-2016 team as a bubble team when they got in as a 7 seed to talking about last year when Iowa clobbered ISU and made it farther in the tourney than the Cyclones.
