No better way to help a struggling three point team like Auburn get out of their slump than by leaving them wide open every time!
How do you expect to guard all 3 guards at 25+ distance? That's where they're shooting from. It doesn't make sense to stretch your guys out that far, then you just get killed inside instead.

We feel right now like OKST did against us, a ****** 3PT team is shooting the lights out even on bad shots.

I think this is what is so infuriating about Prohm. There is nothing going on offensively It's just TH trying to make a play or dump it off to someone to go one on one. Our guys aren't good enough to do that. But there isn't any adjustments for it. It's the definition of insanity. Going down and doing the same thing hoping something different happens.

They're getting open looks, just missed a bunch of them. The shot choices themselves really haven't been bad.

They are casting a lot of those from 5 feet beyond the 3 point line. For a team that shoots 31% from 3 those are not good or easy shots.

Just really slow getting back on defense there.

How so? You do realize teams leave our “shooters” wide open on the perimeter on purpose right? Everyone scouts us believe it or not.
Not exactly how it works. You can't just leave "shooters" wide open. They do scout, and see that the only time Iowa St plays well, and wins, is when they make 3's. So why would you want to leave them wide open?
