Probably after she spit it into a cup is when she could finally talk.
Lots of issues discussed in here that I'd really like to avoid. Maybe I'll just keep this on the back burner and wrap my meat.

Buddy of mine did it and he was told 50 blasts.
At this point, accumulating 50 events would take longer than the number of “active” years I have left.
Not worth it.

The biggest risks are:
•Chronic pain for 1-2% of patients (that in many cases can’t definitively linked to the vasectomy).
•Even worse, deciding in a few years that you want to make babies after all.
The poster who recommended seeing a urologist (as opposed to a primary care doc or general surgeon) is likely on to something, too.
if u do do it, just see an experienced urologist. Complications are usually doctor booboos. It’s really a minor operation and an experienced doctor will know what they are doing.
Trust me. Never trust someone offering to save you a few bucks by giving you a vasectomy in a dark alley. I'll never make that mistake again.
Itll be fine. just dont be the .01% that will have the "kicked in the junk" pain for the rest of their lives.
Mine was performed by a urologist...done in less than 2 hours...2 months later...I am finally feeling back to normal...almost! My doctor was hilarious...walked in the room on the day of the procedure reading his clipboard and asked the nurse "is this the penis enlargement procedure we have scheduled today"?! I am glad he wasn't cracking jokes afterward though because I was afraid to laugh, cough or sneeze for a bit!
Curious question. I am going to get this done soon. Does Insurance cover it normally and if not how much does it cost. Should I just go the the Vet and have them do like a two for one with my dog? Ok. the last part was a joke but the first part was serious.
Had mine done at Iowa Clinics in WDM. Drove all the way to the 'big city' because I figured the doctors were better there. Was the worst experience of my life. Pain like I can't describe. Searing pain. Discomfort lasted about 9 months. First two weeks I had trouble walking. I finally called the Dr office and went in for a check up to see what was up...get to the office and they have me see a nurse practitioner. Very nice gal and the crazy thing...crazy hot. Like drop dead gorgeous. Total smoke. I gotta drop my pants and have this woman 'inspect' me...really, really wish I could of got warmed up a little before hand. It was cold in there!

My insurance covered everything other than my $35 copay. However...it had to be billed as an office visit and not an "out-patient" procedure. My doctor's staff was very helpful in guiding me through the billing situation...recommended I call my insurer prior to the procedure and all was good. The bill was about $800 but I was only on the hook for the $35.
If you are even considering having kids in the future, don't have it done. Evidently the procedure to reverse it is pretty difficult and I'd be leery of insurance covering it.
Generally insurance companies love this procedure. A vasectomy is much, much, much cheaper than even one pregnancy and delivery.
I knew a co-worker who had the reversal. He had a younger second wife who wanted to have kids. The procedure to reverse is very evasive, very expensive, and the odds aren't in your favor that it will work - at least that was the case about 15 years ago. They were lucky and referred to the baby as their "Million Dollar Baby" - partly because of expense and partly because of beating the odds.
