They have an abnormally high amount of fast food restaurants. That's special.
The entire state of Ohio is just weird with this inferiority complex. Strange vibe.

What about Twin Cities for this storm system?

Anything about western Iowa, particularly the Omaha/Council bluffs area for this storm?
DART bus?Hi,
Im posting from a hospital bed right now after a bus sideswiped me while riding my bike. Real funny jerk.
You mean dinner? All the schools up here in NC Iowa cancelled before supper
In BC'z neck of the woods, it is called supper, Son.
People in Arizona are the only people I'm jealous of this time of year.
Ohio has bigger cities, but outside of that it's like eastern Iowa on steroids.
Right.
But as far as I know, nobody local is forecasting 6 to 11 inches like the post you quoted saying "locals parroting national" now. So if TWC or other nationals were/are still going that high, they are definitely quite a bit higher than local forecasts like ours that are calling for ~3" in Des Moines, with 6 or 7 north.
Just saw TWC and their latest has most of Iowa in the 5-8 range with the 8-12 area expanding south. Be interesting to see if they come down what the local forecast is....or the locals change to them.
KCCI and TWC showing 5 to 8 inches tomorrow with an additional 1 to 3 inches tomorrow night.
Now a winter storm warning. So the locals are starting to parrot the nationals. Be interesting to see how this plays out. The NWS is even hinting at issuing a blizzard warning for north and central Iowa.
Kansas City takes the cake on inferiority complex. Probably because it’s full of Mizzous, Beakers, and Purple Cats.
