I would have never said this before and just shows how far Campbell has taken the program but ISU needs to improve the non-conference schedule a bit now I think.
We need wins, not a more difficult schedule.

Why would Pollard switch out UNI, a guaranteed great gate, for Colorado State?
IOWA STATE
2020 - @iowa, UNLV, South Dakota
2021 - Iowa, @UNLV, Northern Iowa
2022 - @iowa, Ohio, SE Missouri State
2023 - Iowa, @Ohio, Northern Iowa
2024 - @iowa, Arkansas State, North Dakota
2025 - Iowa, @Arkansas State, South Dakota
2026 - Bowling Green
2027 - @Bowling Green
2028 - Tulane
2029 - @Tulane
A few things.... Will Pollard ever have 3 home games to start the season?? Why do we keep playing away games vs MAC teams??
Why do we keep playing the same teams... for example how many times have we lined up against UNI, UNLV and Ohio recently?
If you are going to play home/away at MWC teams... go for better ones such as Air Force, San Diego State, Colorado State, New Mexico or Wyoming.
Finally... will Iowa renew thier contract after 2025?
This was the first year without a road OOC game in a long, long time.We had 3 homes games to start the year last year.
I disagree as long as Iowa is good. You want one good opponent and two “easy” wins. You don’t want a Baylor schedule. Now if Iowa were to head downward, which I don’t see happening, then you can schedule a Minnesota or someone similar in addition to Iowa.
Even then our strength of schedule is usually good.Completely agree. Strength of schedule is meaningless unless you're CFP bound.
I would like to keep Iowa and introduce Colorado St. as the new UNI.
The rivalry games are usually close and it gets us prepared to play the big boys in the Big 12.
Dead end, if the day comes that you beat them down they'll quit.
Think you could do a guy a solid and help him get his hands on a couple of tickets to Ace's High? Been on my Vegas bucket list for years.I'm looking forward to the UNLV game next year. I'll be staying at the Tangiers with my good friend Ace Rothstein.
Iowa will not renew until the fate of the B12 is determined. If we are no longer P5, they will likely discontinue. Many things hinge on that date.IOWA STATE

Exactly right. So what the hell are we going to do when Bowling Green and Tulane become conference games?Iowa will not renew until the fate of the B12 is determined. If we are no longer P5, they will likely discontinue. Many things hinge on that date.
