Top 5 greatest well known drummer of all time. Only person besides John Bonham that I could remember to keep his time keeper perfect through crazy through rolls.

Never saw a drummer like Peart. He was never not doing something with those sticks.......and it always fit perfectly.

Blake Richardson, Thomas Pridgen, Chris Pennie just some younger drummers that will blow your mind. Peart, Bonham, Baker were great but drums are like a different instrument these days.

As a drummer myself I’m sad, Peart, Bonham, and jimmy chamberlain are those who have shaped my drumming, Jimmy is my favorite since my all time favorite band is The Smashing Pumpkins. RIP Neil thank you so much for aspiring me to drum!!!

I am not a Rush fan by any stretch, but I can appreciate great musicians and this guy was the real deal. One of the all time greats. 67 is pretty young. Here is a picture of his kit that he played during the opening sequence of "Hockey Night in Canada", which is a pretty big deal in Canada. The kit is now in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
