So Jamie is going to send out a letter while he's in Orlando at bowl game events?
Sure, why not? How many hundreds of hours would it take to compose a letter like this?

Had season tickets for those too.Which is great. People like going to games no matter what.
I went to two or three Chizik-era games myself.
I think this is Pollard telling people not to be ********. The **** written on this site by fans is most likely equaled to the **** that fans are sending to Pollard, Prohm, Campbell, and the players.
If you want Prohm to be fired at the end of the year, stop going to games and stop donating. But don't act like an *******. The louder and uglier you are about it makes it pretty easy to ignore you because no one in any power will take you seriously. Don't assume that you know more than the the actual professionals know.
I think the vitriol aimed at our coaches has increased a lot over the last 2 years. And Pollard has called it out several times.
There is a large segment of this fanbase that WANTS the programs to fail. They want to be proven 'right' and love being miserable and making others miserable.
Read up on the Grand Avenue expansion and flood mitigation project. Not saying the area will never flood again but work is being done.LOVE building in a flood plain. that sucker is never flooding again.
I think Prohm is widely praised on this site because he seems to be a good man. But like another man who was generally highly thought of as a person, Paul Rhoads; Prohm can and will be fired for poor performance.
I don't assume to know more than the pros but do know that when the time came I thought McDermott and Rhoads should have gotten the hooks the seasons before they eventually did. I'm not going to be surprised if JP sharpens his time frame for Prohm.

Having a little perspective is a good thing, and I appreciate the reminder.
Sorry kids lets not enjoy this Christmas dinner together in Orlando, I've got to write this letter that I can do back in the office next week.Sure, why not? How many hundreds of hours would it take to compose a letter like this?
This makes a lot of sense. And I might add, if you can't see the irrational fan, you may be the irrational fan.I read this message and the talk about 'irrational' to be more towards those freaking out over the bowl game loss than about basketball. Pollard knows the FAMU loss was bad. But if you're freaking out about football right now you're being irrational. Was this year disappointing? Absolutely. But that doesn't mean we are anywhere near off the rails yet, and Campbell hasn't given us any reason to think he can't still grow things from here.

He has a good grasp on the disappointment fans feel, but is still able to doing his job with the professionalism it needs. That's a tough balance.
Yuuuup..I'm excited to read Jamie's letter in March after we finish 10th for the second time in 3 seasons.
But honestly, all this did was solidify the fact Steve isn't getting canned ANY time soon.
Hold on to your butts.
I was gong to say the same thing - you need to be in your office with your staff around you just to write a letter?Sure, why not? How many hundreds of hours would it take to compose a letter like this?
Not to mention, nothing on this board is actually meant for Steve Prohm's eyes. Or Jamie Pollard's for that matter. It's fans having discussions with other fans.
Don't lose to FAMU would be my suggestionSo I'm guessing you would be real surprised to find out how many coaches and staffers read this site? I'll give you a hint, it's > 0. While you may not intend for anything to be for their eyes, they read the site just like the rest of us.
