Campbell watch starting now? I’m sure Randy P will be all over it.

CMC is going nowhere. He should at least look the way people treat him on this board. How in God’s earth can you think you have any small percent of the knowledge these guys have. Sure, this play looks stupid to you. Just how much film did you watch on that opponent in that situation? The growth of a program is not usually a straight trajectory.

There might be XFL jobs better than the two dumpster fires in Ohio. If Campbell is leaving, it's not gonna be for the Browns.

Disagree. There is plenty of talent currently on Browns roster and their GM will continue to build the roster. The proper leader can and will control these players and develop better offensive plans. Lets talk again in one year.

The next coach will almost certainly get at least 2 years. Even if they have another season like this one or worse, the coach will get a second season. And if they get a guy like Ron Rivera or Mike McCarthy, they'll probably get 3 years. The GM is the one who will get the axe.

GM is John Dorsey who was KC Chiefs GM till 2016, he is well respected as a GM. He will not get fired unless owner is an idiot.

UPDATE: Either Haslem or myself must be the idiot!

I think it should be @clonedude because his football knowledge can’t be paralleled by any available coaches or current ncaa coaches.

If they have another sub par season, he'll definitely be on the hotseat. If their next coach flames out, Dorsey will be gone for sure. Respected or not.

If that is the case the Browns will of ignored their history and made the cycle of futility grow even stronger. We (browns) once fired a young coach who was alittle under 500 and now look at him.

Dorsey would need a good recruiting pitch, but I think Campbell would be interested if the conditions are right. That team is loaded with talent and just needs some decent leadership and management to get to the playoffs.
