yes, he has been for some time.
It was good to see him do that’s against the Panthers, I always thought he got a bum deal being buried behind Kuechly and Davis. Davis was past his prime and AJ seemed better yet was still behind him on the depth chart.

Lazard has quickly become a fan favorite in Green Bay. He's made some clutch catches this years, plays with a ton of swagger and has clearly established himself as WR2 on this team. Been a fun year to watch as a lifelong Packers fan.
You’re right, the fans love him! I’m a packers fan and it’s so cool seeing him out there for most of the snaps and actually making plays. He’s actually starting to become really good in the slot running slants over the middle.

Gonzo Bloor “But this does speak volumes about the lack of coaching he got at ISU. Pretty unreal for ISU's coaches to be handed a top-10 4* WR recruit with his measurables and this to happen to the guy. Apparently they didn't feel the need to develop his skills beyond outmuscling small, crappy Big 12 DBs. Worked out great for ISU, he produced big for them and they got one of their best seasons ever. Obviously it didn't work out too well for Lazard. Gotta wonder if he's wishing he'd gone to ND or another legit program where they would've helped him develop a more well-rounded skill set.”

Yeah I bet Lazard regrets these types of opportunities.

Best part about Lazard's TD catch yesterday was that he caught it over All-Pro CB Darius Slay, widely regarded as one of the best corners in the league. Second best part was the fact that it tied the score. (Following Crosby's XP, of course.)

Good insight into the kind of fans they are.

Allen is a good kid, Iowa native, who has always done things the right way and has earned every bit of this opportunity. And all they can do is rip him just because he went to ISU. Pathetic.

Lol, like Iowa has this great history of developing wide receivers into pros. Who was the last pro receiver they had? Tim Dwight?

Looks like Lazard finished the season with 477 receiving yards, 86th in the league. Not too bad for a practice squad guy who didn't even play the first 4 games

If you take his averages and go over a whole season vs just the 11 games he played in he would have been something like 49 catches for 693 yards and 4 touchdowns which would have moved him up to #53 on the list. Another year in the system and an offseason working with Rodgers as a primary target kind of guy could realistically give him a chance at a big increase in production.

Not exactly sure.

Dwight was more used as a kick returner. What teams kept him around for. Now he’s wandering around hawkeye tailgates asking college women or 25 and under women if they “want to ****”, in his words. Friends daughter graduated from dentistry school there and was at a game in 2018 and said Timmy asked them that and when turned down they watched him weave to different groups of women.

FWIW many Hok fans I've known tend to keep their high school/college mindset throughout life so not exactly shocking.

Had one over Christmas Eve get into some very detailed stories of high school football games from his rural town in like 1973 or whatever. One story is fun, 20 means you're not past it.

Although hitting on women like that points to other issues... Bielema-esque. Oh, look, another Hawkeye!
