This team failed at every prove it moment of the season. The frustrating part is that for once it wasn't a talent gap, we just too often blew it on details and discipline. For a staff preaching about winning in the margins that isn't good. This team could never pull it off when expectations started to rise.

7 wins and a bowl appearance against ND is still a good season at ISU, but it still featured plenty of nut cup moments and ultimately feels disappointing.

I think this is incorrect. Just because everyone isn't awful, doesn't mean the talent gap isn't still there.

Maybe they meant something else by "It", like average or ordinary.

This was clearly a disappointing season. A step backwards.
