Could Nader be making himself attractive trade bait to a contender right now?
That's an interesting thought. I think that their idea is that if they can't contend (and frankly, their record puts them in the playoffs so I guess they'd have to define what contending means), that they'd be willing to trade any of their top veterans for a rebuild - Gallinari, CP3 (not that anyone will be beating down the door to take that contract) and even S. Adams.

I doubt many contenders would see Nader as an upgrade to their talent so maybe it would be a matter of team with some injuries at wing that needs depth. Just my own thoughts there; the main thing for him is to keep demonstrating his value in the league.

They are not having him defend fellow PG Ben Simmons.
Simmons is a tough match-up for guards that are Monte's size. But he would be such a more difficult match-up if he could shoot the rock just a little bit.

So, as noted, Jamal Murray suffered an injury for the Nuggets, which led to Monte getting a lot of minutes. The Nuggets dropped their 5th of 6 games (though the 76ers are still undefeated at home and it ended 97-92). With getting his most minutes of the season, I'm sure Monte would have wanted to shoot the ball better and to tally more assists. His line: 31 MIN, 7 PTS, 3-9 FG, 1-2 3PT, 3 REB, 2 AST, 1 STL, 2 BLK and 1 TO with a -1.

Well, Monte may have only had 2 assists vs. Philly but check out this dime!

Big night for ex-Clones shooting 3's tonight in the NBA - let's hope it carries over to the Hilton tonight vs. the Hawks. Georges ended up with 15 MIN, 9 PTS, 3-3 from 3, 2 REB and 1 BLK (comfortable win vs. the T'Wolves). Nice quick catch-and-shoot here:

Nader had an even bigger game and got another start in OKC's 94-93 loss to the Kings. Nader's line was 33 MIN, 15 PTS, 5-9 FG, 5-6 3 PT, 4 REB, 1 STL, 1 TO and +9.

Monte vs Nader

The Nuggets won the game; Nader had the better stats.

Monte ended up with 7 PTS (3-3 FG) and 1 AST in 23 MIN.

Abdel started again with T. Ferguson still out with a bad hip. He played 26 MIN and scored 14 (on 5-7 shooting).

Both were productive and efficient.

Since Deonte's 1-game suspension, he has not dressed with the big club.

Why did Deonte get suspended?
