Is Fran McCaffery the Kirk Ferentz of basketball?

Steve Prohm has been bringing in good players on paper, yet he has a home loss and a losing record record to Fran McCaffery. So how do the Prohm defenders spin this game? Is McCaffery better at getting the most out of his talent, or is Prohm just a poor game-day coach?
The players were flat. Needs to be a line up change IMO. Look at Lewis. People like myself have been getting crap for asking where he is and he might get double digits tonight with less than 10 minutes.

Meaningless but he seems too only recruit almost exclusively white guys. Tonight first time in a while ive seen over 15 minutes of Caucasian basketball

The game is too big for some of our players right now. Grill doesn't look like he should be out there, same can be said for Griffin. Lewis looks like something clicked tonight.

It's early and there are a lot of new pieces on this team. Let them gel, give them time. These guys at Iowa have mostly been playing together for 2+ years. They played like a team tonight

Idk how anyone can respect Fran. He is a pathetic human being. For those that want him at Iowa long term, you better hope we make a change then, cus he coaches circles around Prohm.

Let's see if he's given more opportunities after a good showing tonight.

The two best players Prohm has recruited leaving after their Sophomore and Freshman years didn't help.
