Do we just need to play Grill until he's ready because he seems to be the only chance of giving us the 3 point shooting threat that is basically required to compete in the 2019 version of this game.

Michigan hits a few 3s, game over. Huge weapon we pretty clearly don't have for the first time in a decade.

Good point. Nixon and Bolton don't offer much offensively so far. It's early though; lets give them some time. I do wonder about Grill's ability. He might be our long-term answer.

What's the down side of playing Grill? He looks to be our best pure shooter already. He looks to be possibly the best athlete. He's playing next to a top 5 point guard in college basketball who plays 40 minutes a game so no need to be primary ball handler.

I know obvious answer is defense, but there's a lot to weigh against that.

he was in the first rotation off the bench.

Teams never shoot well from 3 in this banquet hall tournament so of course Michigan now 55% from 3 with high volume.

At this rate, even TOE will blow us out. Can't score or defend the three

I really thought either Bolton or Nixon was going to be a go to scorer. We have no one that can create their own shot.

No spacing on offense, must be because no one is setting up for the three point shot.
