Agree, that'd be my preference.
It's a good visual balance -- white-white-cardinal vs. crimson-crimson-white.
Playing @Tech is a situation where having gold pants would come in handy. (Gold helmet even more so)
Chrome should not be used with our regular red. Keep it white and chrome only.
Campbell probably thinks the chrome lids are jinxed after the road loss to TCU last season. If we wear them again, I bet it's for a blackout against Texas with black logos & facemasks.

Why not add a throwback set to the rotation? Oklahoma State busts one out quite regularly. We should wear these into Kinnick next year to remind them of the 1978 beat-down:
Gross.We need to copy the Arizona Cardinals more on how they wear their black uniforms, while still integrating some red (and even a little yellow in their cardinal logo on the helmet) IMO.
I'm going with W/R/W for the Tech game. Calling it now. (And without the black collar it'll look better)

If this was available for road game vs. Tech, I'd take it.
While I don’t they are, Tech does do one game a year where they wear white jerseys at home to support cotton growing or something like that
