This seems like a poor move. It's mocking Iowa State, not congratulating Iowa for winning as they tried to say in a follow up tweet "we didn't pick the winner" as if had Iowa State won they would have posted the same thing. It doesn't really matter to me, but given the choice all things being equal I'll probably choose another option.

And yes we are getting two new Kwik Stars in Ankeny. One on 36th street and the other on Oralabor.

I'm pretty sure Kwik Star has a training center up in Johnston, so it appears that they are going to get aggressive in the DSM market.

if any of you think the Krause family gives two ***** what you think, you're wrong. His old man used to throw a fit if people would walk onto HQ property with a casey's cup in hand. They have meeting rooms that are all Iowa Hawkeye themed...they gave $$$$$$$ to renovate that dump called Kinnick. It's one of the many reasons why I detest the entire chain.

I can't imagine filling up my tank based on what college football team a gas station cheers for. For those of you who do, more power to you. Fill that tank full of school spirit.

I hope so. It was nice having one in Marshalltown when I was up there. I already frequent the one in Grimes and they're building two in Ankeny right now. One on Oralabor and one on 36th.

I can't remember the last time I stepped foot in a Kum and Go. I only go when there's no other option.

I have no problem with the tweet either. A private company can do what they want. Potential customers can also respond accordingly with their spending habits. Not great business sense on their end, but I don't expect anything less from an Iowa grad.

I think you are confusing the point of the thread. Look again at the original post.

No one is saying they can't do it.

I seriously doubt Jesus would frequent a shop who's name sounds like a truck stop video booth showing porn.
I’ve read a few pages of that bible book and I’m pretty sure Jesus would did out with sinners, thieves, tax collectors, etc.....so, a lot like K&G

Ehhh....why wouldn't it at least make you think? I live near two Kum and Go's and a HyVee gas station. That tweet just made it so that I'll go to the HyVee one. If I have a choice, I'm not going to pick Kum and Go. I'm sure they are really worried about losing me as a customer ;)
