Testifying
Is going to be as much of a toss up as maybe we've seen since the 10 team format.
Any road victory is going to be huge.
Our defense is going to keep us in a lot of games, just need to get some more production on offense. Could be the key between third place and eighth place.

With our play calling and these new coaches looking good already finishing 5 or 6th is looking more likely to me. Everyone else has a good win and we dont.

Lots of teams I thought wouldn't be very good are starting to look tough. Of course, it's a long view up from the bottom of the standings. Looking forward to the ULM Game. I bet the team responds and kicks butt. It will definitely set the tone for the rest of the season. I saw some really good stuff out there today that just needs to be cleaned up a bit (3rd down defense, bumbling the chalupa, etc.)

It's still very muddled. But here's a shot.
  1. OU - isn't like last year
  2. Texas - running back a sore spot
  3. BU - time will tell
  4. K-State - maybe one too low
  5. TCU - impressive at Purdue
  6. oSu - 3-0
  7. ISU - need to get out-of-state
  8. TxT - disappointing at Arizona
  9. WVU - ACC sucks
  10. Ku - proof

KSU and TCU looked better than ISU yesterday. Tech looked OK.

Haven't seen Baylor but it looked like they finished the game.

It's wide open for teams that are prepped for it.

KSU and TCU played teams worse than Iowa.

We don’t like to admit it but Iowa May be 2nd best behind Ohio State right now.
Too soon to tell. We haven't beat anyone but an FCS team in 3OT and they have beat two bad teams and us.

I'll reserve my judgement until anyone has played a team as good as Iowa except UT. The league has some very nice road wins...against unranked to poor teams. And ISU UI was a toss up lost by bone headed special teams play. Seventh? In this league? No.

It'll be a jumbled mess with teams separated my only a game or two. Matchups will be important. I'd give ISU a good shot against KSU because of their run defense. I think BU's lack of OOC opponents will cost them at least 1 game in conference.

I'd say at this point:

1. OU
2. UT
3. TCU
4. OSU
4. KSU
4. ISU
4. BU
8. KU
9. TTU
10. WVU

Miss. St. has no QB at all, and thus no offense at all basically. And their defense lost all its talent from last years team. They aren't that good.

The Iowa team we faced last night defeated a MUCH better Miss. St. team in their bowl game last year.

Wisconsin imo would roll Iowa right now.

I wasn't that impressed with Iowa.

Decent team and ISU could be too with better fundamentals but instilling good tackling is for August camp.
