Are we done now?

What the NLC contenders have left:

Cubs:
>=.500 20
< .500 15
Home 18
Road 17

Cards:
>=.500 19
< .500 17
Home 20
Road 16

Brewers:
>=.500 18
< .500 17
Home 19
Road 16

Cubs with the toughest road ahead. It is nice to have at least one more win under your belt as you enter this stretch run but they are certainly going to have to prove it. As always those games against division contenders will be crucial.

Not going to quote the post but just coming in to say that @ISUCubswin is one of coolest peeps on here. Not going to gain anything by insulting him on here.

Also ending the season on a 6 game road trip is going to be ruff.

The next 9 games for the Cubs are huge, a good run and the Cubs can really solidify their playoff spot, if they struggle they will be right in the wild card mix with a bunch of teams.

Cubs play the Cards 7 of the last 10 games to close the season. Nothing will be decided by that point so its going to come down to those games. 4 are at Wrigley and 3 are in boring St Louis.

Agreed. They better distance themselves before ending the season in St. Louie.

So I honestly can't think of a situation where you'd pitch Strop anymore. You can't rely on him. He is wild, hits guys, walks guys, and gives up hits when he does come into the zone. What do you do with him?

Leave a note on his door letting him know team batting practice starts 1.5 hours before game time

Was looking at the future pitching match-ups coming up and see that we get a 4 game stretch of facing:

Strasburg
Stroman
Syndergaard
DeGrom

Uh oh...
