It doesn't have nearly the "great story" power but a thick paste of baking soda and water coating the sting area(s) will reduce the pain, swelling and itching as it neutralizes the venom.

I heard that a paste made of meat tenderizer works also.

For OP: Next time you get a Hungarian Bride ad, click and order the paper catalog. In the back of the catalog,you can order some elderly Asians for a pretty reasonable sum. They kill bugs long time.

I had the same problem recently. Went to Lowe's and bought a can of the wasp and hornet spray. Shoots a nice stream of toxic white stuff that coated the entryway to the nest (inside some landscape blocks). Nuked them again the next day. Just to be sure.

Nobody messes with Remo and lives!

I think it was pre-ratings. Back when you got rep and that was how you rose to the top of the charts.

But you couldn't neg-rep anybody. I did get a few "hate-rep" points from a few posters, which seemed to be counter-productive for them.
