whom ever is the hs coach who decided we will play man against him should have his whistle permanently taken away. I would place two guys on him every play and see if someone else could beat me. Maybe even a third over top. Lol. He is good.

I had no idea that a P5 skill player athlete could dunk.
I watched his senior year highlights on Hudl. Tampa is as sudden and explosive of an athlete as we have gotten. His ceiling is sky high, hopefully he has the work ethic to get the most out of himself.
That was more than a regular dunk, very explosive.
A couple of our current starters probably don’t have the size and explosiveness required to dunk like that. No wonder the staff had Tampa as a top priority.
I can see that translating into going up and fighting a DB in the end zone for a touchdown, or Maybe a two point conversion against Oklahoma for a victory.
Halstead described him as capable of play multiple positions in a tweet. He's talented enough to contribute at wide receiver, but I kinda hope he wants to be a ball-hawking free safety. Lots money to be made playing DB in the NFL, and our secondary could use that level of athleticism.
The same type of dunk that I saw a former 4 star recruit do. Said 4 star never panned out. Was an exciting signing day story, however.

i don’t recall seeing Sed Johnson dunking like that. Lazard never did—but he planned out. Jirehl Brock was close, but you can’t say he hasn’t panned out.
We haven’t had all that many four star recruits in football to choose from.
I came back to this thread because I saw Hawkeyes getting excited about one of their hoops recruits doing a “windmill dunk”.
This dunk is much more impressive, not least from the sheer elevation. And he’s a football recruit.
