I'll be tailgating and won't GAF who they have. I just hope I make it through the game.
People can disagree with this all they want but I would be shocked if the first story the nation sees is not about that historic tradition of waving to the kids.
Agree with that part. The first half of the show would be about waving to the kids, and then someone would remind them they are at ISU, not Iowa. Just kidding.... kind of.
Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather have GameDay come for the Texas game.... hands down, but we don't know if that will happen or not, so you kind of have to take what you can get.
State Fair and Wal-mart are not all that different from what I can tell.
Giving a little ribbing is one thing...but to keep going with it and really attempt to insult someone on it says something and it's not that uncommon from the Iowa fanbase in my experience.

Even if they didn't, and they just talked football and current success etc., Iowa fans would ride that out for a long time on how it happened because of them and for them.

It's pretty 'whatevs' as most of us can't remember where or when CGD has been to different places but that is how it would play out.
Anyone ever consider that CGD might have someone looking at this thread or have someone send them this thread to read and all this pushes them away for Iowa game and also Texas game because of how much this thread makes us look like complaining, picky fan base?
JFC, there are literally acres of space outside JTS that would work for CGD. Pollard wants JTS and the facilities and our monstrous tailgating as a backdrop...and if CGD comes, that's how it will be. CGD will want to come because they know the crowd will be electric and huge.

Yes. Think about it with today's social media. It just takes one idiot to send a tweet to them or an email and then they check it out and game over for us
I'd guess ISU is a very tame fanbase compared to where they usually go.
