You're comparing a metro with a population of 6 million people to a metro with a population of 700,000

I'm also comparing a place that has at least 8 casinos in the metro compared to DSM that has 1. Prairie Meadows does about 1/3 of the revenue of the largest casino in PA. I'm not saying they have to build a 10 million dollar sports book but it should be better than what you see at a local bar. I'm sure they are just taking a wait and see approach and maybe time was an issue but I can't see myself hanging out watching games/spending money in this current setup.

The ameristar’s in council bluffs is a solid build. Pretty sad when they a better job than Prairie Meadows. Time shouldn’t have been an issue, bar and furnishing build outs don’t take that long.

It's hard to say for sure but of these pictures it looks like Bettendorf may have the best set-up of the William Hill spots:

To me, they should have just paid Marcus theaters come in and put in a movie theater with dream loungers. Then have the betting windows in the back and you're golden.

The pictures there seem like they are trying to get people in and out rather than sitting there watching all day.

I keep hearing conflicting reports.

Someone above said the app won’t be ready for 1-2 weeks and that you have to register on site and then come back 3-4 days later to fund your account.

I have a friend that said he went to PM yesterday and they told him the app would be 3-4 days and you can create your account and deposit the funds the same day once the app is finished.

If I’m ever down in the DSM area wanting to watch a bunch of games, I’ll probably just go over to Spectators. That place is sweet

Evidently it was the site of an armed robbery this morning. Police were describing it as an active situation and advising people to stay away from Adventureland and PM for the time being.

Interesting. I would think the morning would be the worst time to rob a sports bar.
