But they're going to be better without him...and Moss...and Baer....and Jorbo... because of the guys who redshirted last year, a human toothpick, a guy named Evelyn, and another named Tosstaint.

Well those guys who redshirted were destroying the starters in practice last year. Which explains why they redshirted. Because they were better than the starters.

Too bad a former walk on forced Moss out and he had to end up at Kansas. Addition by subtraction losing Moss and Cook

Tosstaint,.....that is beautiful and revolting at the same time.

"taint
noun
1.a trace of a bad or undesirable quality or substance.
"the taint of corruption that adhered to the regime"
synonyms: trace, touch, suggestion, hint, tinge, tincture; More"

That is definitely a definition of that word.

Random update: checking out The Athletic today when I found a mailbag piece with a large chunk about the B1G. One of the questions was asking which team takes the crown of "Best in Iowa" this coming year. The writer spun around a bit writing about previously being high on the Hawks, then learning that Bohannon underwent a couple surgeries, and then Moss left. He complimented Weiskamp, Garza, and incoming coach's son Patrick.

...then picked ISU anyway.

I honestly think this could be a really fun ISU team without egos. It’s obviously going to depend on Bolton’s eligibility for sure but this team will likely defend and play very hard.
