My "First Four"

(Second time in about 6 weeks I’m able to use this song).

“Hi Susie. Do you know what? I’ve been in the hospital!”

“List monitors arrive with petition.”

I was listening to "Stop" on the radio, complete with the Spanish into. My wife looked at me like I was crazy saying, "What are we listening to." I told her, "Wait for it... wait for it..."
"Juana's Adiccion!"

Of course my wife doesn't like her rock that aggressive, so she still didn't like it much. I had to use my rare veto powers to keep it on that station, because that song is pure fire for me.

Two from “Mellow Gold”

“This is song 2 on the album / This is the album right here / burn the album.”

“Come on m*******r, put your clothes on, come on!”

I remember buying Mellow Gold thinking, "There's gotta be a few more songs like 'Loser' on this one, right?" Then the symphony of weirdness that is Beck was the result. I liked it, but not as much as I thought I would. I appreciate it more now than I did as a teenager.

Thanks for these threads. We always get a great variety of music and there is always something great that I had never heard before and/or something great I had forgotten.

Keep them coming!

Thanks to you and all that contribute to these. So many songs here posted that I should of thought of, but glad we have people to catch the ones that slip my mind.

Tell Saint Peter at the Golden Gate,
that you hates to make him wait,
but you've just got to have another--cigarette.

Didn't think I could come up with one this time but then this came on Sirius Satellite Radio:
Sir Douglas Quintet and Mendocino:

and don't ban me for this one, there is speech before the song and it is safe for work:

I didn't mean to degrade the thread because this weekly feature has shown me how much I never knew but...sometimes I just get ornery.
