The game in Ames felt closer than it actually was, but Baylor was moving the ball pretty well in the second half. If Brewer hadn’t gotten tossed we may have been sweating a little more by the end.

I can't argue with what you're saying. But if you recall, they intentionally tried to bait Butler into getting tossed out of the game, and got Montgomery tossed. I'll bet Coach Campbell and crew won't forget that either. What would we have been doing if Montgomery was still in that game?
