What good would it be to add a terrible football program to the Big 12? No need to water down the conference. I might be interested if it was basketball only.

It would add the entire northeast as a potential recruiting area while adding Connecticut and NYC area fans. It would also be a school that Kansas could compete against and give West Virginia a closer and old Big East rival.

Drop Baylor and add even UConn but it needs to be for all things, keep it at 10.

There are a lot of closer, better options out there. Cincinnati, Houston, BYU, etc. Adding a couple teams would be okay, but they would have to be a good fit. 10 teams seems to be working fine also.
