Where they love the governor
There was a farmer that hit a natural gas line in IL a couple of years ago. Farmer was putting in a tile line and had a rep for the gas line company there to make sure they were all clear. I guess the tiling machine hit something, but the gas rep said that it was a rock or something and put tractor on front of the machine to help pull it through, unfortunately it was the gas line and the rep, farmer and the farmer's son perished in the explosion.

This one?

Didn't do a one-call to locate the line.

I was conducting a search in the PNW a few years back. Ran across a individual who just got his PhD in Biology from Oregon St. For his thesis, he and a professor found a microbe that will basically eat dynamite.

He said there is a catalog of thousand of un-exploded dynamite bundles in mines throughout the Western US. This basically renders a site unusable unless it can be removed or re-mediated.
