NBA needs to kill the one-and-done rule so guys that are ready to get payed can start their professional careers immediately rather than stoking a bidding war between the most corrupt SEC schools.
Agreed. And let the G league do what it's there for. Plus might make going to G league games more interesting if you know there are upcoming stars playing in it.

Unfortunately that means that the agents and their money will move back into the high schools. The one and done rule was created to keep them out.

For those too young to remember, Lebron grew up in a poor famlly in Akron, Ohio but yet was given an brand new H2 Hummer by his mom for his 18th birthday. Since it came from his "mom" and not an agent he retained his amateur status and was able to continue to play HS and AAU basketball.

Of course everything worked out fine for Lebron and Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire who were the top ranked kids in that class, but look up Lenny Cooke sometime. He was supposedly as good or better than all of them. The motivation to keep his grades up and life in order so that he could qualify for college would have done him a world of good.
You don't think giving an 18 year old a couple million dollars and playing in a city like New Orleans, MIami, LA or NYC wouldn't keep his head on straight? (tongue firmly in cheek)

Side question: How do these guardians end up being the guardians for 2 Div. 1 talent basketball players? (Dante and Samake)

Do they just take a trip to the orphanage and say “We’ll take your 2 tallest, most athletic orphans, please?”

But in all seriousness, I’m curious.

Well according to the article ISU wants him either way

Yes you take a player of N'Faly's talent either way and encourage someone it would be in their best interest to enter the portal and find a fit.

"he hopes to take an official visit to Iowa State this summer. The other four schools he mentioned? Kentucky, Oregon, Michigan State and Tennessee. LSU is also thought to be a contender."

Very interesting that KU isn't in the picture now, they were thought to be a major player to land him recently. Perhaps De Sousa being eligible changed that. Kentucky is also a finalist for Blackshear who is set to decide very soon could influence his decision on 2019, just something to watch.
