Leech had the same impression on me that Cam Lard did the first time I saw him in Cap City; seems like a high emotion/high energy player that has a truckload of potential. Zion Griffin last year but much quicker off the bounce.
Leech seems like the kind of player that you give the ball to at the end of the shot clock and he's going to get a quality look. Maybe not this year but in the future.

Nixon never impressed me as a shooter, so hopefully he improves over the summer. Really just need him to present a threat to hit one or two a game from out there.
He's playing with a taped up wrist right now so who knows. His entire team really struggles shooting the ball. It's the difficulty of having the first pick in the draft. Luke Anderson not playing in the first two games hasn't helped either.

And Prentiss Nixon went 5 for 20

Nixon is a 33% three point shooter in 2500 minutes played ofcollege basketball games and does many other things well. Oh and he has a sprained wrist.

I’ve seen nothing in 2 years of Lewis that makes me believe he’ll have an impact and ISU.

I don’t have a vendetta against Lewis like some probably believe. I’m just being honest that he’s not going to play any meaningful minutes at isu.

Save me your “turn the corner” or “BUT MATT THOMAS IMPROVED” posts.

For someone without a vendetta, you sure can't leave it alone.

Well, he had an impact for the first 10-12 games last year. So you'd be wrong already.

I understand where he is coming from. He basically got attacked for posting inside info because it wasn't what people wanted to hear. I hope more than anything the light comes on for Lewis but based off what I've seen and also heard on him that isn't likely at the moment. Things can change though there is a lot of off season left

Absolutely; his step back was pretty dirty and that was with Grill playing D on him not some HS kid.

Iowa State is also without those 3 players all of next year. They also don't have Weiler-Babb, Shayok, and THT.
