- it was in the shop this week borrowed the neighbors John Deere 54" deck mowed my lawn so fast i couldn't believe it. so nice to drive i did his yard and his neighbor in time it usually takes me to do mine.
Growing up I had to mow our ~1 acre with a 1970s version of this .maybe 60s? how long have they been around? Looked very similar to that one though.

Forever -
My father in law bought it new and passed away the same day so I keep getting it fixed. At some point my wife is going to have to let it go. God rest him-

Dixie choppers was one of the first zero turns out there. I'd take one of them any day over a Toro.

Toro has gone down hill in quality though, ever since they stopped production of the heavy duty wheel horse line.

You may be right with Toro. They are not as heavy duty anymore. They use the Exmark line for that now.

Wright Standers are awesome but can't put that kind of money in a mower with only about 9,000 sq. ft.

Forever. I remember my great grandpa mowing with a version of this mower I. The mid 80’s and I know it wasn’t anywhere close to new at that time. He had two identical Snapper’s so when one went down he didn’t risk missing a mow. Guy liked to mow.

Dairy Queen is your go to for ice cream? Try some place local, man, don't know what you're missing!

Since the stuff they serve is less than 4% fat, you'll never see the words 'ice cream' in DQ or McDs. Yeah, it's just a technicality, but there's reason Ben and Jerry's tastes so good (18% fat).

Sorry, back to lawn mowers.....

Yeah, I had a classmate in high school who worked at DQ. She would correct us all of the time when we said "ice cream". "No, it's 'Dairy Queen'."
