How can you forget Shakira Julston?Only one I remembered was Jackson (since he signed), so I stand corrected.
Wow, I had already forgotten about Malou
Prohm really got hamstrung that year when Malou was deamed ineligible. We had great guards but no post players. We grabbed Holden who was actually decent through the non-conference season but didn't have the size for the Big 12. Solomon Young was basically the only big man that played the 2nd half of the year.Morris

...maybe some Bowie.
Man, that would have been a great team.

Plus Malou would have still been around the next year, assuming he didn't leave early. Malou was supposed to be the bridge from that senior class to the era of Prohm recruits. The Malou issues had quite a few trickle-down effects.
Always wondered why they were never a bigger threat. They have lots of resources. I guess they just needed the right coach. Really dangerous now that they've got him. At least they'll make Kansas sweat every year now. It's amazing how fast fortunes can change with a program. All of a sudden, Tech is making a deep run, getting high level recruits, and paying their coach KU money. Who would have thought that 3 years ago? They went from being a moderate at best threat in recruiting battles, to cleaning up.
They really screwed the kid over. I feel terrible for him. His story was brutal.Malou Signed and was The #1 JUCO player in the Nation. But the NCAA ****** us.
Top 50 recruit.
6-9 power forward
Yeah I think there is a good chance they both go to Kansas now. Although, I'm seeing lots of people talking about Hampton going overseas. Not sure what that's all about.Yeah looks like KU is about to land both Hampton and Wilson. They are best friends.
That is going to be an interesting team to watch. A ton of talent that will be playing a second-tier schedule. If they come together, they should be sitting in great shape next March.
