***People that write long responses on a message board. Like you guys care what I have to say, ahem***
I realize these are my problem of not being more accepting.
People that are completely unaware of their surroundings or just don’t care.
-Ones that talk throughout a movie, church, school concerts/plays.
-That sit in the right lane when they could’ve been in the left to allow all of the people behind to turn right on red.
-Talking at twice the volume anybody in the building needs to hear them. We can’t go out anywhere without having this example. I can hear people across the restaurant better than I hear my wife sitting across the table.
Random whining:
-Dragging out an S when singing when the word ends in S. Jesusssssssssss. If you came up short, don’t drag the s out, it’s not a note.
-Open mouth chewers.
I forgot this one, but absolutely LOVE that you brought it up.
Sayings:
-Asking me, “How are you?” Let’s face it, 99.9% of you don’t care about this answer. It has just replaced a simple “hi”.
-“These ones”, it’s either “this one”, or “these”.
-“I know right?”. If you know do you need validation? Or are you smug?
Don't ask this question, problem solved. Save it for your close friend that has been unwell.
Same with typing etc. I do this a LOT, and know it's bad, but I'm pretty much an idiot.
Most of us that do this understand it sucks to wait for somebody to back in, and so I usually won't when I have people behind me. But because a crew cab truck is almost impossible to pull in to a spot that has cars on both sides, I will drive around to find another spot. Backing in is much safer as you know that somebody hasn't just came in behind you for the most part, and you can see the space prior to backing into it. If you pull in, and back out when you leave you can't see traffic as well. Especially kids walking. Thankful for backup cameras that have really helped with this with the 180 view. Not sure how backs into angled unless it's for ISU games and you are on the end cap and can just drive out.
Stopping on a divided four lane street for school busses on the other side. No bus route asks for a kid to walk across five lanes of traffic. I was a bus driver, so unless this has changed since 1989, you don't need to stop.
