In honor of Easter, what's your favorite frozen pizza?

I was just thinking about that... I THINK it was just Woman Lake Lodge. Some rustic lodges, a small row of motel rooms and I can't remember much else. No restaurant that I can recall. They had a cute little cove where the boats were so we'd motor out. A long dock on the lake-side... I might have to google map it and see if I can still find it.

Only town around I can remember was Brainerd but I recollect that was still 45 minutes away...
Cool!

My family has been going to Woman Lake every summer since my parents were kids. We either stay at Woman Lake Lodge or the Green Roof Lodge (which are the gray cabins) next to Woman Lake Lodge.

As for the town your thinking of you with the lakeside restaurant, that is Longville or possibly Hackensack. Otherwise the next largest town is Walker, which I think has a casino and Leach Lake.

10,000 lakes and you and I have stayed at the same resort... Small world!

Glad to see so many Jack's fans. Sometimes I thought I was the only one...

My main grocery outlet frequently has 5-for-$10 deals on it. For frozen you can get in that price range, it's my favorite. If you're not a thin-crust person, but want something price-to-cheap quality, I recommend Tony's. (Red Baron is, usually, a smidgen higher-cost than those).

Have a cabin outside of Longville on Leech Lake. Patricks restaurant is darn close to the water in Longville. Huge town of about 100 people!

When I was in college at ISU, I bought whatever was cheapest because 1) I was poor, and 2) I would usually have one when I got home from the bars, and half the time I'd put them in the oven, then pass out on the couch and wake up later to the smell of smoke and a completely burnt pizza.
I feel like I've read this before. Strong deja vu going on right about now.

There’s this newer company called M&M Pizza that had a stand at Hyvee that enticed me to buy a whole Chicken Alfredo pizza. Kinda pricey for a frozen pizza but very good. They have a meat lovers and a breakfast pizza as well.

There's better tasting probably but my favorite frozen pizza by principle is a Tombstone Canadian Bacon, with the bacon baked just barely browned on the tips.

In college, two totinos with one upside down on the other eaten like a sandwich was my late night go to.
Need to know more about this. Cooked like that or put together post cook?

Change cook time?

I can’t speak for the other poster, but I used to do the same thing, and I would put them together after cooking them. I think that if you put them together before cooking you wouldn’t get the same crispy crust.

Home. Run. Inn.
If you're more than 250 miles from Chicago you might not recognize this one.

I forgot about those when I mentioned East Side Cafe. Home Run Inn much easier to find and they have some really great topping choices. It's a great price too.

I love how buttery Home Run Inn crust tastes, only comparable butter flavor I can think of is Lou Malnati's but that's a totally different pizza. I started getting delivery from an actual Home Run Inn restaurant only a year or two before I moved away because there was one near a relative's house but the pizza was pretty fantastic there. About exactly what you'd expect a non frozen version of Home Run Inn to taste like.

They really should go national, it crushes most frozen pizzas.

I've always had a jones for Tombstone. It's definitely NOT the fresh ingredients and quality, but 40-ish years ago my Dad and I used to fish at Woman Lake and there was a tavern there somewhere and after a day of walleye fishing we'd go get a coke (me), a beer (him) and freshly made frozen tombstone pizzas at the bar...

Oh you bring back some good memories, when the kids were young we would stay at kee nee mu sha KNMS resort on Woman lake and go to a bar to eat Heggies pizza. We would fish the hell out of Woman and never catch many Walleyes but had a blast. The trick with frozen pizzas is to buy some mozzarella cheese and "dress them up" with more cheese. It will make an average frozen pizza pretty good. Pizza is like sex even when it's bad it's still pretty good! Towns near Woman lake.... Longville, Pine River, Hackensack, Walker. We ended up buying a place on Leech Lake because the fishing is better and there is more to do there, but I have a lot of fond memories of Woman lake.

Leech Lake is 25 miles from Longville and Patricks is right on the water at Woman lake, I have taken the boat many times to Patricks when we stayed on Woman. :)
