Saw a cool stat on ESPN a little bit ago.

Through a team's first 7 games the 2019 Cubs have allowed more runs and walked more batters than any other team IN THE LAST 100 YEARS.

We’re number one!
We’re number one!

If the cubs hang on tonight and win tomorrow and have a winning record on the upcoming home stand, I promise I will stop bashing Joe. Pinky swear.

If we can keep scoring double digits every game maybe just maybe we can overcome our pitching staff.

Is this a pitching coach issue? Besides maybe Lester, it seems all of the pitchers have regressed under Hickey.

Just so we are clear Hickey was let go in the off-season. Tommy Hottvoy who has held no position higher than that of an advanced scout is the Cubs Pitching coach this year. He may be able to come up with a decent game plan, but he has not shown an ability to help the pitchers with mechanical issues early in the season.

KB have any options left? Joking, obviously, but man he hasn't been the same since his shoulder issues last year

He needs moved down in the order. Joe is doing him zero favors keeping him 2nd. I’d also like to see him moved around in the field. He hasn’t been very good since becoming a full time third baseman in 2017.
