Gimme the list of candidates that will say yes to Iowa state and you will have my answer. Could get much worse than it is now.
I vote next year is make or break. He has to at least meet expectations or he should be gone. I’ve long said I don’t think he is a Big 12 caliber coach but he deserves next year. If we would have lost out it would be a conversation.
Voted No but it wasn’t easy. Results as a whole don’t justify firing but I need to see some serious growth next year.
The Big 12 tourney championship means next to nothing with a first round NCAA exit.
Silly if you vote yes. He started 2 true fresh and wiggington and lard never looked like they ever got back to form. He has had some head scratchers game to game on (like tonight) game plan, but you could say the same about Scott drew and no one is trying to drive him out of Waco. Apparently people on this board dont remember the McDermott years. It could always be much much worse.
You can’t want him out at this point. We won the Big 12 tournament less than a week ago. But the expectation is the NCAA Tournament every year especially if he gets a pay raise to over 2.5 million making him a Top 30 paid coach in America.
Oh, I respectfully disagree with you on that. We will always throw those Tournament Titles in the ToE faces when need be.
I voted to keep him but he’s not a great coach IMO. It’s hard to argue with 3 tourney teams in 4 years, a sweet 16, and 2 conference titles, but at the end of the day I just don’t think he’s a good coach.
