This whole season I have not been able to sell my tickets of games I havent been able to go to. I post on facebook and craigslist, and I havent sold a single ticket this year. I have seats in section 203(not great spot) but I cant even sell big 12 tickets for $20 each. A few years ago I had zero issues, they were gone in minutes. Where are people selling their tickets?

If you have seats in Section 203 and in the upper rows then they aren't very good seats relatively speaking. Secondly you paid $199 for the entire season per seat without a donation. Perhaps you are having trouble selling them because you essentially want twice the face value of the ticket for tickets that are in the balcony and behind the basket.

Right, but in the past (hoiberg era) I had no issues selling those tickets for $30-$40 per game. I usually look on stubhub and sell them for 10-15 dollars less then what they are on there. This season I havent been able to sell them for even 15 or 20. 15 is face value.

We have 11th row corner balcony seats and have never had problems selling them on StubHub when we can't use them for some reason. In fact of our 4 seats 1 guy has 2 of them and occasionally if one of the 3 of us doesn't want to take them he usually prices them competitively on StubHub and they usually are gone within hours of him posting them. Last season he sold maybe a handful of games and made back more than his season tickets cost. Big 12 games, especially the weekend ones seem to be pretty easy for him to sell.

I sell mine on StubHub when we can't go. It's been a little hit or miss with the weather this year, but typically pretty easy to sell there.

I'm in your section, have no problem selling the Saturday games. I just gave away the week day games I couldn't make to friends. I list on ISU Ticket Exchange. They do need to lower the minimum on there though, it's crazy that you can't list for less than $30/ea. With having another kid in September and the crappy non-con, the only game I went to was Mizzou. Wish I could have thrown them on there for $5 each.

Haven't tried selling any this year but got crazy money for my 14th row corner balcony seats a couple years ago. Sold Texas, TCU, and Baylor and way more than paid for our 2 season tickets. Wouldn't surprise me if the going rate has gone down some but I'm pretty confident I could have gotten decent money through the ISU ticket exchange or StubHub if I wanted to.

Sell on here to ISU fans and pay no fees. I have never had a problem selling my corner balcony seats. Yes, sometimes when the weather is crappy and I put them up late or we're playing somebody crappy you have to lower the price or even give them away but it's still better than empty seats.

Demand is simply down. There were empty seats around me for KU!

People lock up season tickets since they always get "sold out". But then they don't go to weeknight and/or non-con games. I do this too, and have eaten 5 games this year. So plenty of tix are available. We aren't at capacity like it used to be, unfortunately. And this is not related to the recent swoon, it was like this the past couple years too.

I've had a hard time selling them, or even giving away at times. Three times I needed a 3rd ticket, I scalped for $20 out front, paid $20 on CF, and got a freebie (thanks, you know who you are!)

I don't think they can jack up prices or donations, or threaten to re-seat everyone. A fair amount of people (esp those driving in from a distance) would just not renew. I likely wouldn't, I'd just pick a handful of games and it would cost less overall, even at more $ per game.

I have been able to give tickets away pretty easy still. I never try and sell corner balcony seats, it is just not worth the hassle.

I’m surprised you have issues. There’s rarely very many tickets available on stubhub for any conference game. The ones that are are usually in the top 2 rows of the balcony and they are overpriced.

Also a big difference if you are going to all the Saturday games and trying to sell all the weekday games. Some of the weekday ones are the ones I like to buy for more because I can get those a lot cheaper.
