One of the more memorable ones for me was his role in "JFK". So many people in that movie were just off the wall.....remember Joe Pesci? That was a great film, although short on concrete information, it sure gave folks a lot to think about. Still one of the monumental achievements in film editing, too.

He didn't have one I didn't like but it's still Uncle Buck for me. That closing scene where he's standing in the driveway and they freeze it on his wave goodbye still tugs at the heart strings every time.

Underrated nod to Harry Crumb. That was funny stuff.

Lots of good choices. Uncle Buck, Planes Trains and Automobiles, and Summer Rental are classics for me. Also really enjoyed him in Cool Runnings.

I love Uncle Buck, Spaceballs, others as have been named

But I'd be remiss if I didn't point out Cool Runnings. That was an all-timer in my house growing up.
