My guess today is that game decides the B12 championship.

Great win last night. Shayok hits a couple incredible shots. My gosh, he's good.

I cant remember if we were last back in 98-99 but I believe we were picked last by some of the pre-season rankings before the 99-00 season.

Way up there
If I'm going right now:

1. K State- they get to prove it with trips to KU, BU, Texas, TCU and WV. That's brutal.
2. Iowa State- not pretty the last 2 games but finding ways to win
3. KU- At least they know De$ousa's status, still KU but how far can Lawson carry them
4. Baylor- playing better than Tech and they beat them, schedule gets tougher
5. Tech- clinging to non conference hype, really need to find some offense
6. Texas- should be higher but Shaka...
7. TCU- No Fisher limits their ceiling, not sold on front court, Dixon's future blurry?
8. OU- wheels are wobblin', Christian James is MIA
9. WV- Huggy one spot higher than anyone wants to see him
10. Okie St- not sure the turnips have any more blood to give

No TxT. Already finished that series 1-1. Wade missed the first. Stokes was coming off an injury in the 6 point loss at Lubbock. Wasn't much of game in Manhattan. All those roadies will be tough as ISU found last night in Norman.

K State coming back from a million down at home to WVU could be the difference.

the game against ISU in Manhattan has huge implications for the league title.

Today, I'm guessing the ISU/K-State game will decide the B12 championship. Farmaggedon on the hardwood.
I agree with this. If ISU wins in Manhattan, its ISU title to lose. If KSU wins, it will be another year of KU winning the title.

Cliffnotes: KSU cant beat KU, so they wont win.

ISU went 6-10 in 98-99 good for 9th place in the 12 team league. They then went 13-3 the following year to win the league. Marcus Fizer led the league in scoring both seasons.

In 92-93 Misery finished 7th in the 8 team Big 8 and went 14-0 the following year.

I can't find a year in recent history where a Big 12/8 team did it.

Im not sure it's that simple. Teams like Texas, Oklahoma, and TCU will be fighting for their tournament lives the 2nd half of the season so who they knock off could have just as big of an impact of the top 4 beating up on each other.

Might want to drop them down. Last night looked like WV has given up this year. Huggy has lost them.

Huge week for Baylor. @texas and home for KState. 2-0 and they are in the thick of it for a RSC.... 1-1 brings doubt.... 0-2 and they are thinking about Kansas City and which 8-9 seed they will get for the NCAA

Your final standings are pretty reasonable and seem quite plausible. That said, I'm guessing one of KState, ISU and KU fails to reach 13-5. I also think OU will get another victory or two. I would still guess OU will get to 7-11 or 8-10 in the league.

For us, the KState game in about 10 days is absolutely massive. If we win that on the road, which on paper appears to be our toughest remaining test, we are firmly in the driver's seat. I think K-State is going to lose one of their next two contests and come into that game tied with us at 8-3 atop the conference. I assume we'll take care of TCU at home. Thus, if we can sneak out the victory in Bramlage, we'll be sitting pretty. If that happens (and I think its a toss-up), then I'd revise the predictions for ISU to win the league at 13 - 5 or outright at 14 - 4.

Oh, the Koolaid is flowing this morning...... Fun time to enjoy the ride. Go State!
