So fun watching Monte kicking ass in the NBA. ISU guys playing is literally the only thing that makes me watch NBA games.

Was at whiskey river in Ames tonight, looked up at the tv and saw Them show some highlights of one guy in the first half. Thought damn that looks like Monte, and realized it was actually him. Dude is just smooth on the court.

I'm just having a hard time getting past that turnover last night.

Me too. I'm sure he's studying the film on it right now so it doesn't happen again.

Seriously though, when he graduated I thought the ceiling for him might be a role player off the bench in the NBA, but more likely a G league or European player. He's proven me dead wrong and is not only playing at NBA starter level, but at this pace could end up being in the Rising Star game on All Star weekend.

Way up there
Every time I watch Monte, I just can't get over how easy the game comes to him. He looks as effortless excelling in the NBA as he did at ISU. He makes it look too easy. The guy was born to be an NBA point guard.

They won by 1 and he had a +15.... that means they were out scored by 14 when he was off the court for 4 minutes??? No wonder I never saw him leave the court when watching tonight.
