Don't kid yourself... this game is still embarrassing for Iowa. No fans showed up, they still have a -19 yds rushing, and all these lucky breaks are near miracles from God.

Iowa has scored off of one bad coverage, a sack fumble, and a drive entirely out of penalties on MSU. Outside of the one bad coverage play Iowa hasn't done anything on offense either, just like MSU.

Well Iowa now has the better ranking, better record, and head to head. Which team is clearly better?

Personally, I think the "waving to the sick kids" gesture seems at turns cynical, maudlin, and vaguely exploitative. Using these children and their vulnerable families to burnish their image is a bit tawdry as well. Perhaps it's a little deal, but it still bothers me.

I think Iowa State should have a collection at each game for Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines. We can call it AHK (actually helping kids).

Sadly they have more wins, won their bowl and beat us. We need to beat them - otherwise every thread like this is just sour grapes.

Agree. When you been to the same place 6 times, what fun is it to keep going. I guess I would understand if we cough cough didn’t go to bowl games that often
