Blizzard is a pretty accurate description of what we have in SE Iowa right now. We even had a round of thundersnow about an hour ago.

My wife was supposed to go to IC tonight and the gathering was cancelled.

The nailed it where I live. 9” so far. Pretty remarkable considering how narrow the heaviest part of the storm was.

12” with 5’ drifts in Lucas. I’ve been blading snow for a couple hours now.

We got a good 8-10" of snow in Wapello Co. It didn't even start snowing until ~11 am and stopped before 5 pm but came down hard. Hard to measure with the drifts. Had a nice overhang on the back of the house I knocked of with my hands. I guarantee Osky had significantly more snow.

It’s crazy I just saw KCCI said 4” in Indianola and 4 miles away in Milo was 11”. Another 20 miles away in Knoxville was 14”. Des Moines Airport was less than an inch.
