I get how this idiot may have thought this was "okay" because baseball has all of these ******** macho testosterone overdrive unwritten rules regarding all sorts of stuff. You bunted when up by too many too late in the game? Plunk. Stared at that big majestic homer you hit just a second too long? Plunk. Slide too hard into our guy? Plunk. Blunted to break up our guys no hitter even though you are only down 2-0? Plunk.

Twins got all bent out of shape when a guy bunted in the 9th against them this spring even though they had put a shift on against him..Come on, you shifted, you don't get to pull one of those unwritten rules out saying he's supposed to just ground out into it because the O's are down big.

Can't get a guy out to save your life? Plunk his ass, I guess.

Oakland caught the Astros for first place yesterday, using EIGHT doubles to beat Houston 7-1. If the A's sweep Houston today, they will be in sole possession of 1st place in the AL West after being 11.5 games out in mid-June.
