The music alone does it for me.

Never, ever apologize for P&P. One of the most enduring stories in literature.

Val Kilmer should have won an Oscar for Doc. Unbelievable performance.

I love Tombstone, and Val Kilmer is 95% of the reason why.

I have so many favorite scenes:

- Intro to all of the Tennenbaums in The Royal Tennenbaums
- Tom Cruise’s “respect the c***” scene and Juliane Moore yelling at the pharmacist in Magnolia
- Devotchka milk bar in A Clockwork Orange
- Anything with R Lee Ermey in Full Metal Jacket
- Fredo kiss + “you broke my heart” in Godfather 2
- “What’s in the box” - Seven
- “There’s no crying in baseball” -A League of Their Own

I can’t even scratch the surface of this topic.

From this thread I have learned that I really love a lot of movies. One that came up at work yesterday that I really love and have to watch if it's on TV (preferable unedited) is A Few Good Men. So much good dialogue and speeches.
I also had two roomates in college who pretty much had to watch this movie every time it was on as well. So we watched this movie A LOT!

I love the opening of this movie.
This captures part of it, but my favorite bit isn't in here
It's Ethyl Merman, the perfect loudmouth mother in law,
When her son in law says, "These things happen..." responds something like,

"These thing happen?! THESE THING HAPPEN?! These thing only happen because when these things happen, people like YOU, instead of DOING anything about it, just say, These Things happen!"
