I know we'll get a good Bowl Game...I just want more than anything to see EIU go to the PinStripe Bowl. (I would LAUGH my butt off!) Late December in NY City... Brrr!!! Not even a football stadium! Yeah, we'll see how well their belov-ed fans travel then!

I've seen a lot of chatter today from Texas media/fans that seem to think that if they win Friday that they will be heading to Orlando. Not sure if there's anything behind it other than that they think they'll pass us just because they are Texas, but I'll be rooting for Tech on Friday just in case.

Well we don't have to worry about this anymore. I didn't expect to wake up and see Tech beat Texas! You have to think Longhorn fans aren't too happy with Herman right now.

Yeah, I turned it off when Texas seemingly took control. Should definitely help in the Bowl pecking order this year.

This makes good sense when you think about it. Eight good to very good teams and 2 that have no wins except one against the other.

So everybody gets 2 'guaranteed' wins in conference against Baylor and KU. Add in 2-3 wins against out of conference 'cream puffs'. Then a lot of 50-50 games to get another 2 wins in conference between the good to very good teams.

What's so cool is we have 500+ posts speculating on where ISU will play in a bowl game. Been a long time since we've been able to have a discussion like this.

I'll be excited no matter where they go.

Agree, just think with it being the day after Christmas it's going to keep some of our fans away though unfortunately.

After the KSU debacle we are doomed to some 6-6 level POS **** bowl and that sucks big time. The Big 12 bowl ties pretty much suck and we just fell big in the pecking order.
