Can't believe it took 1.5 quarters to figure out they could pass all over this secondary. Did they not scout the Purdue game?

In the defense of the kNU coaches, they figured whats the point of scouting when your admin and fans don't want you there and you won't have a job tomorrow.

Special teams stupidity on behalf of kNU costs them points right at the end of the first half. If they had gotten the ball back they could have ran the clock down and potentially scored themselves. Instead, they give up the lead and will go into the locker room tied and have to give the ball to Iowa to start the second half.

I don’t like some of these soft ass running into the kicker calls in football lately.
IMHO, if the punter starts running with it (even if rugby style kick), the punter should be fair game. The Iowa punter was rugby kicking it, you can't expect the defender to stop his momentum when he is expecting the punter to run with it.

Nebby goes from having Mo and getting the ball up 7 with 4 mins left, to being tied at halftime. What a stupid special teams mistake. And Iowa gets the ball to start the second half. That's why they are 4-7.

Also, Nebraska threw the Iowa runner out of bounds on that second down play with 1:06 remaining, but the clock kept running. Am I missing something? Did they call forward progress or something?

Can't tie an NCAA record for longest scoring drive by an offense without starting at your own 1.

Oh, I see. So this is what the hok staff is coaching? Makes sense. You're not going anywhere, might as well try to have some oddity value for entertainment purposes.
