Currently 4-1 on the Road

I wonder if Iowa State has ever won five road games in a season so next week could be record-setting. Heck maybe we've never won four in one year before 2017.

According to the "Quick Hits" at the bottom of the athletics page, a 5th road win would tie the record (3 other times, though not since 1978). We've won 4 road games in 7 other seasons.

Who the hell would have ever guessed that? Winning Season Record, Winning Big 12 Record, Winning Record on the road.

You know what, I think this Matt Campbell guy may know what he is doing.

Also.. the only time in ISU history we won nine games we played only two ranked teams before the bowl game. These were our three losses:

49-27 at home to Nebraska (#1)

30-7 at home to AtM

and 56-10 at Kansas State (#15).

Think about it for a second....

We've already beaten two top 5 teams. Will have not ducked anybody in our conference. Haven't lost by more than 10 points all year. Holy cow. This is different.
