Aaron Austin makes an appearance behind Willie Harvey at LB... was Defensive scout team co-player of the year last year.
Uwazurike at DT instead of Matt Leo - Leo moved to DE
"Or" between Oge and Knipfel
WRZ battle just between Hakeen and Marchie... "or" removed for Carson Epps.
"Or" dropped at Star probably for obvious reasons.
Dylan Soehner makes the depth chart battling for backup TE with Harms
KR listed as TBA instead of Kene now

I wouldn't at all be surprised if Knipfel and Oge were the eventual starting guards, though they are apparently battling each other right now.

Thanks for posting. Does anyone know how we ended up with Aaron Austin? I don't find him in any recruiting class, I don't recall him being a recruit, and normally kids from California don't walk on at Iowa State.

It doesn't look like they put a whole lot of effort into that, but it's great to see Soehner work his way on to the chart.

I'd assume with the D-Line the two deeps are basically playing the same amount of snaps just to keep people fresh

How bout that left guard spot with a converted DT & a very recently former walk-on? Yippee!

Defensive line has been upgraded, but secondary and linebackers still woefully undersized. Hopefully UNI's offensive staff takes a while to gel.

Future looks promising; hopefully the newer players grow up fast.
