Where did this start? I've seen it here for years. It's among the dorkiest things ISU fans do.

This isnt an ISU thing.

From perusing various other boards over time, this is a common message board thing for coaches, though sometimes its HC (head coach) instead of just C then coach initials.

Not a phrase, but the threads that bring up some sort of stat or information that's basically passively making up excuses for football sucktitude, or passively making a case for a former coach to still be at the helm.
